EUROPE -OFFSHORE WIND FARM PROJECTS MAP

11th Edition – March 2020

La Tene Maps are happy to announce that the latest edition of the Europe Offshore Wind Projects map is now available in pdf format and is available on request from us. Due to the Corona Virus a print version won’t be available until our printer gets back to work.

This map is published every year and shows all areas in Europe where wind farming is proposed, planned under construction or in place. Offshore wind farm areas are colour-coded to show the stage that area is at together with the developer, proposed MW and No. of turbines. This includes areas in offshore rounds, areas under application, areas granted and fully consented areas. Wind farm symbols generally only occur on the map when an offshore wind farm is fully planned (consented), under construction or built.  Offshore Interconnector routes are also included. Insets appear for areas of the Mediterranean Sea, Canary Islands, Northern Gulf of Bothnia and parts of the Belgian and Dutch sectors. 

On the release of the new map John Coleman, Chief Executive of La Tene Maps said” These are challenging times. We will try our best to have digital versions of new maps freely available pending the ability to get maps printed and distributed”
