This shows offshore wind projects offshore in the East North Sea and Baltic sea areas. It covers Denmark, Germany, Netherlands , Belgium and Poland as well as Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. This map has an enlargement for the Belgium/Borssele (Netherlands). Offshore wind farm areas are colour coded to show the stage of development that the area is at together with the developer and generating capacity of the licence or lease where known. Colour coded wind farm symbols are used to show consented, under construction and built wind farms on licenced/leased acreage. The map also shows the tender areas likely to be developed in the near future. Background information would include Natura 2000 zones and oil& gas platforms.
