This is one of three new maps showing Ireland and the Irish Sea in greater detail than the Europe Offshore Wind Projects map.  This map shows the wind projects from built through those which are consented down to assessment areas. Both floating and fixed projects are shown. The map covers the seas around Ireland as well as the UK sectors of the North Channel, Irish Sea and the Celtic Sea. Also shown are the major ports from which they can be developed as well as showing major constraints – oil and gas platforms, dredging areas, cable infrastructure, as well as Natura 2000 sites (EU sensitive environmental areas covered by the birds and habitats directive) and bathymetry. This map is also available on a subscription service. 4 maps a year. Revised in June, September, December and March.
