Published every second year this full colour map shows the electricity transmission and distribution system in Ireland (north and south) from 400kV down to the 33kV/38kV distribution system together with substations which are named. The map also shows all generating stations attached to it and are shown by fuel type or technology. Both fossil fuel and renewable energy projects are shown either built or under construction. Some consented projects are also shown, mainly wind. The operators name and generating capacity are also included. Renewable technologies covered include wind, solar PV, energy storage (mainly battery storage) and biomass chp. An additional feature is that offshore wind exploration licences are included.
